Pros

Getting to opportunity to interact with clients and help pets

Cons

People from the support office seldom visit the hospitals and when they do, they have tunnel vision and rarely interact with the lay staff - only show up when (financial) things are not going well. Managing doctors are usually the ones who sold the practice so have little interest in running the business or find ways to improve culture/morale. Hospital managers are promoted from within because they are the most senior receptionists without any formal management training or experience in running a business let alone a team.

Pros

The bonds formed with clients and their pets

Cons

Was a great place to work when it was private practice, then NVA took over and all they care about is money now, not the care of animals.
