Offshore Hires and Overpromised Compensation
Pros
Learned about credit and debt management.
Cons
Poor training and structure overall. Micromanaging, Overpromised earnings, Commission structure only works in companies favor. Offshore hires from Dominican Republic taking over ability to earn a livable wage. I was told throughout training and starting in sales that I had potential to easily earn $10k or more per month. Training and management emphasizes great pay however it is impossible to hit commission caps. Each month there was a different excuse as to why we were selling less and less- holidays, tax season etc. The metrics and rules to follow would change daily making it very difficult and distracting to manage. Multiple new training and coaching meetings throughout the day taking away time from selling. The job would be somewhat tolerable if they paid their employees a fraction of what was promised. Everything they implement is to avoid paying employees commission and use intimidation tactics to sales employees. They account for every minute that you are dialing or on a call from the moment you clock in to the moment you leave. One traumatizing phone call after another. Favoritism with lead distribution.
