Most horrible experience of my life!

Pros

The company has good ideas. Benefits are good and the pay was decent.

Cons

My location was dirty, under staffed, in violation of more state codes than I could count, treating the residents like animals, and treating the staff even worse. At 5pm, the people who are supposed to supervise the facility disappear regardless of what may be going on. The staff are under educated and lazy... to the extent that patients go sometimes 5-7 days without dressing changes that should be done daily. This place does not have your back either... if state comes in you are taking the blame. I got out fast and called state myself. If you value your license... don't work here

Horrible

Pros

I can't think of one.

Cons

No consideration for their employees. Since coming into Maine from New York they have cleaned house of most of the long term employees. Bringing in new management and removing all the higher pay, knowledgable staff with inexperienced workers for lower wages. The new management is rude and brash and unprofessional. This company cares nothing about quality care or the residents just the bottom line of making a profit.

Pros

Nothing, there is nothing good to say about this company. If I could give it Negative or 0 stars I would

Cons

Management is terrible there are a very small handful of intelligent nice people in the organization but unfortunately not enough to ever make it worth working here. There is an awful double standard and bias. I could not believe the things that have been done to employees just so the company could save a buck. The way the treat people is disrespectful and rude and should not be tolerated in any work place or environment. It was amazing how management would tell one employee one thing and another the total opposite. I could not believe the bold face lies that were told on a daily basis. Management and middle management DOES NOT care about the employees at all, it does not matter if it is you or someone else at your desk. To them you are just a person in a seat and they will get rid of you in a heartbeat. Most of middle management will be blame everything on the people below them but then take credit for all their work. There is no policy on raises or bonuses which means you will not receive one. Management will tell you during the interview that the company gives nice raises and bonuses ... That is a flat out lie. There is no where to go, you will NEVER EVER be promoted. Again, they will tell you there are opportunities in the company during your interview this is also a flat out lie. You have to fit a very specific set of criteria to ever go anywhere which most people can never fit this criteria. Management cares more about the amount of hours you spend at work opposed to what work you actually produce. People who work 10-12 hours a day are praised even when their work is wrong and people who work 8 hours a day are blamed for everything even if they had no part in the task at hand. There is NO flexibility when it comes to vacation time and holidays. There are no paid holidays so you must use your PTO time for all holidays. Management does not believe or celebrate most holidays so they will give you a hard time about taking the days off. If you work a holiday like 4th of July or Thanksgiving do not expect to be sent home early it will never happen, the office will not close early. Snow days also count towards your PTO time so if your are snowed it you must take the day off.
