Pros

Like-minded people, especially in arts and music. Everyone is welcoming and the work environment is not too bad. The benefits and perks are great.

Cons

Very high turnover ratio. One day you’re getting to know a new colleague, then the next day they’re gone without a word or explanation. A mass layoff recently occurred and affected the lives of 30+ people without a warning sign. This will affect the Los Angeles office as the morale of that location will continue to drop.

Pros

The core employees are extremely talented and inspirational to work alongside. Music technology is a dynamic field to work in. The benefits package was greatly improved and competitive. Dog friendly environment.

Cons

The environment is prefaced on fear and secrecy. There is a massive lack of transparency and trust. Goals by upper management are not shared honestly with teams and as a result teams are set up for failure. Management does not focus on the larger strategy and makes hasty decisions without taking the time to understand. Time differences and extensive European vacation allowances make globally dependent deliveries impossible in a timely matter as all progress is stagnant while people are out of office. As a result collaboration is slow and technology can not move fast enough.

• Cool industry & product set. Many folks do care but....

Cons

• Yes, they recently laid off a lot of people (very poorly done I might add), but here's the main rub: From a business perspective, this is a 22 year old consumer electronics company that tried to pivot into cloud-based platform & digital services and 'widen the funnel' of their customer base (HUGE RED FLAGS ). • Company has run out of steam • Reactive, frantic, and scared leadership
