      Young enthusiastic team creating great products. Team players across all departments. Management has open door policy, any idea is appreciated. Management is open about the current financial status, open projects and company goals. Friendly colleagues. Free lunches and snacks. We take lunches together.

      •Phenomenally smart, collaborative and energetic team. •Transparent, ambitious and capable leadership - very technically focused. •Great working environment/atmosphere. •Awesome technology - so many applications! •Opportunity abounds - lots of room for professional growth regardless of level in all areas of product development lifecycle from super early phase through post commercial.

      Typical start up challenges: •Optimally resourcing and organizing of projects as well a maintaining focus can sometime be a challenge. •Not so large an organization to warrant some dedicated functions - engineers get the opportunity to wear many hats - while a plus in general, can be a distraction. •Some sharing resources among programs but not significantly impactful.

      Pros

      Neptune is a highly innovative workplace that places an emphasis on R&D. The team here is very talented and easy to work with. Management is good about allowing you to work on projects you're interested in and supporting individual career growth. The office location is super convenient since it is near public transportation, has plenty of parking, and is close to two downtown areas for lunch. I genuinely enjoy coming into work every day!

      Cons

      Like most start-ups, we are always busy and everything is a high priority. If you are a self-starter and able to manage your time well, you will thrive here but no one is going to hold your hand through tasks.
