Pros

This review is a little overdue, but better late than never! I was hired at Net at Work in November of 2017 in a rotational program called the First Year Associates, with four other colleagues. During my time in this program, I learned three different phases of a Business Analyst and got hands on experiences as well. We were all placed on three practices, and the three that I got to be a part of was Sage 100, Employer Solutions, and Sage x3. My experience during my time on each practice has been nothing but amazing. I learned so much, not only about their products, but great life lessons and will carry those lessons with me wherever I go. All employees that I’ve met on these practices were nothing but helpful and supportive during our time. I was always welcomed to ask them any questions on any assignments that we were given, and they never failed to help. The two leaders in charge of this program were always helpful, supportive, caring, and always challenged us to seek our fullest potentials in not only being great employees, but great individuals. I am forever grateful to them and all of the major life lessons they taught me. After the program was completed, we were all placed on specific Practices permanently. I was placed on the Employers Solutions Practice. There is a saying that goes around at Net at Work claiming that the Employers Solutions Practice is not a team, but a family, and I can personally attest to that. Each team member on this practice went out of their way in some way or another to teach me about payroll, HR, technical topics, and even just customer service skills. The Practice Director and his wife and Consultant Manager went out of their way to make sure that we had all we needed to be successful, and we always so caring and thoughtful. I got to meet everyone during a team meeting in Clearwater Florida, and got to know each person individually (since most of the team works remotely) and it was one of the best experiences that I’ve had. Net at Work as a whole was a great, fun company to work with. Every month we had an Employee Appreciation lunch, which were festive around holidays. I always felt appreciated for all of the work that I did. I even joined one of their many initiatives that they had going on, which was a Mentor/Mentee group. I also learned many great life lessons in this as well. Choosing to leave this company was one of the hardest decisions that I have made. The reason why I chose to leave was because I had a change in heart of career paths, and not because I was unhappy. I will always hold all of these experience that Net at Work provided me close to my heart, and I am forever grateful to hem for allowing me to be a part of their family.

Pros

Career growth opportunities Leadership within my business unit Remote work and autonomy

Cons

Internal systems are not cohesive. It would be better if we had less systems and more uniform procedures. Very chaotic. Feels like everyone is frantic and just trying to please the customer, but not working with one another very well, and this results in bad delivery. New roles are created without being fully defined. People are not always clear what they're responsible for. Responsibilities can randomly get added to your plate, and without proper training or communication. Causes confusion and additional chaos. Burnout is rampant. Many people are stressed and spread thin. Morale seems low. Work-life balance is non-existent, unless you want to fall behind on your large workload. Overall, role confusion and burnout has led to duplicated work, missed handoffs, and poor client outcomes.
