Its Work Culture and the amount of care on their employees to make them feel home away from home on every single day is the most significant aspect that seprates from an ordinary work place to a truly great place to work for. Its been a Year since i quit and if there was one place which yearn to go back is here. Lastly it also depends on your team (SAM team) and your reporting managers. I was fortunate to have worked with some wonderful Peers and couple of managers who made life at NetApp a rewarding and a memorable one.

Cons

3+yrs in the company. I would have had multiple arguments, discussions, agreement/disagreements but never thought them as a Con.

Work / Life Balance Compensation / Benefits Culture New hires will be invested in with training opportunities. The "Worker Bees" are good people to work with. Most everyone has each other's back.

Cons

George has a good vision, but seems to be getting blocked by Sr Leaders that want to keep playing by the old rules. (the good/bad thing is a lot of Sr leaders are leaving) Not much movement in career development/advancement. Been preaching this for the past few years with not much improvement.
