Pros
The people below the management level are the nicest I've ever worked with.
Cons
For engineers. 1. No more raises, bonuses or promotions. 2. Management that stuck around have completely checked out and are not involved. 3. Ancient technology. Java although 1.8 has code from 1998 which is impossible to bring to the modern age. 4. To fix a bug takes days to get it through a failing build process. Fix a bug, submit the change to build. Wait 9 hours. It fails for no reason. Repeat the process. Now do that for multiple branches. It is mind numbing. 5. The devops team is independent from the developers building the product. They break everything weekly where it brings developers to their knees with zero productivity. 6. development environment continues to degrade in performance. The basic desktops cannot keep up. I've not seen a green build in over a year yet that is what we ship to production. 7. Management is not connected to the pain felt by developers.
