Pros

Learning opportunities, friendly coworkers, decent insurance, 401k employer contributions of up to 11%

Cons

Work life balance, long hours (usually 12+), long commute time to work, equipment is run to failure without any preventative maintenance, morale is extremely low, plenty of instances where harassment has occurred with nothing being done about it. Experienced technical personnel are actively leaving due to overwork, too attitudes from management, and a high-pressure environment.

Pros

Many great coworkers across the business who make the work environment tolerable, despite everything else. Great 401k employer contribution (up to 11%).

Cons

Management appears to be actively trying to drive away all their competent, experienced technical personnel, through overwork, eliminating opportunities for progression, condescending attitudes and a constant barrage of negative feedback.

Pros

Pay/Bonus are relatively good for industry standard. With the high turnover, there is lots of opportunity to advance.

Cons

Very high pressure work environment. Employees are held accountable for things they could not possibly control. Instead of coaching and training, employees are "motivated" by yelling/attempting to humiliate them. Very long commute means work days are 13+ hours long. Most departments are chronically understaffed so it is hard to get time for training or collaboration.
