Pros

Tons of advancement opportunities. We are so short handed that anyone with (and without) ambition can move up in the company. I work in a department where overtime opportunities are endless my first year I spent most of it as a tech three at 34/hr I grossed 120k. I believe without overtime my base pay would have been around 70k . Great schedule. Most of the mine is on 5/4, essentially working for 15 days out of the month. Decent retirement package. Good dental insurance.

Cons

Disorganized management. Us vs them mentality. Every department is against the other: target goals do not align. Production over safety and maintenance. Knee jerk reactions to incidents that arent realistic: the people creating corrective actions have no business creating SOPs for jobs they have never done. All of our equipment we use for our jobs and tools are in complete disrepair due to lack of parts and routine maintenance. Medical benifits are terrible. I have a 7000 dollar copay for a family of 2. All the cons of this company the I personally see are caused by the recent merger in northern Nevada and CEO from a communist country. Lack of manpower is just the reality of a post covid world. After all that, I truly believe this company could be something great but it's going to take a very long time to get there.

Pros

Pay is decent, though somewhat lacking behind the industry.

Cons

Everything. They need to build a better culture to start. Show they actually care about employees instead of just saying they do. Need better health insurance.

Below Average Compensation and Benefits

Pros

Employee autonomy, reliable paycheck, good vacation package. Schedule is reliable for shifters but salaried employees continually asked to put in substantially more time than 40 hrs/WK without consideration of travel times out to site adding over two hours of unpaid commuting.

Cons

Compensation and benefits falling below industry standard. Reliant on foreign management with little understanding of North American practices and values. Poor employee retention or opportunity for training and advancement. Actually zero training beyond initial new hire and mandatory safety training. It is entirely sink or swim with little to no oversight until a crisis arises. Continually short staffed and unwilling to staff up to reduce unreasonable workload. Production is paramount to all other supporting departments.
