Horrible and Useless Upper Management

None - This is the worst company I have ever worked for.

Cons

Horrible company with morons in upper management, they need the developers and testers to tell them what to do, yet they get the large salaries and huge bonus. Once they drain every ounce from the workers they do a massive layoff of over 100 people and move their jobs to India.

Pros

Flexible hours. Depending on the team, you can work remote if you have to. Collaborative environment, and great teammates. Overall, pretty good work/life balance.

Cons

Company is moving a lot of its R&D to India. If you're an engineer, you might want to look somewhere else. Recently, People that have had years of service were just let go. The company showed no loyalty to its employees who have been at Nextgen for 5-10 years, or even more. Every year the company goes through a reorg, which basically means positions being eliminated.

Good benefits and flexibility at times. Casual work environment. Dedicated team members.

Cons

Layoffs every other year and one this year as well. Their product and service is not strong enough in the industry. Seems like a matter of time until the Horsham office closes like others have in the past several years. No real path to career advancement. Constant leadership changes.
