      Wasted My Life

      Pros

      1) Benefits 2) Gained knowledge, skillset and experience, to move on to better things 3) Some colleagues were good to work with

      Cons

      1) Work life balance is horrible. Constantly working OT and no 'rewards' or extra pay. Management always had unrealistic expectations - "do what you got to do to get it done, no matter what'. 2) Favoritism 3) Negative environment (became toxic and hostile) 4) Not appreciative of those out in the weeds doing the actual work 5) Management is not trusted 6) Manager did not know the product 7) No direct management support

      Steadily Declining Company to Work For

      Pros

      Great people, great atmosphere, and work from home.

      Cons

      No room for advancement. Upper Management has made it abundantly clear that the clients matter, not the employees. More freedoms, liberties, and perks are taken from employees each and every year. Happy employees make for happy clients. This is nowhere near the case here.

      Pros

      The staff and client base are very dedicated to NextGen. This company has an unprecedented amount of talent and 8 years ago they were a major player in the market. The content in the EHR is very in-depth and of high quality.

      Cons

      The new management team is cutting costs by cutting people. Over 400 employees in the last 24 months. They are preaching "one" company however they are destroying the company by cutting it down to skeletal form. They seem to be targeting long term employees who really built the foundation of the organization.
