Pros

Direct local managers are great, and flexibility makes the position good enough to stay, but that's really it.

Cons

Many many reorgs over my employment. Vastly undercompensated compared to similar roles. Recent raises and bonuses are pitiful when the company constantly brags about "best year/quarter ever!". DevOps roles are VASTLY undercompensated and over worked. The job roles are completely outside the industry standard for their responsibilities. WFH: Company constantly tries to "force people to come to the office" and the ONLY thing they've tried to make it better is provide occasional bagels. The office is falling apart, and there has been no effort to fix or update it. The elevators constantly break (trapping people inside), the data room and other spaces flood due to bathroom issues, power is incredibly inconsistent and the internet link is so slow that it causes issues for any cloud related work. The headquarters in Utah and Israel are basically brand new, with fitness centers and food and all those other things. There is no reason or point to go to the local office. Many other little nit pick things, but this is the best, concise gripe list I can come up with.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We were glad to read that you are excited about the flexibility you have in your role, and that you are learning from your great managers. At NICE, we have multiple processes in place to review our employees' performance and reward them accordingly. We hire top talent and our "pay for performance" culture ensures that strong performers are duly compensated. If you feel otherwise, we encourage you to reach out to your HR business partner or direct manager, to further discuss your specific concerns.

Pros

Most NICE products are unique and cutting edge. They sell to many Fortune 500 companies.

Cons

For a tech company they are not cutting edge when it comes to culture and work environment. They operate as a call center with theme parties to get people excited about the office, which is immature. NICE has zero flexibility with working times and working from home. They just don't care! For a tech company the internal systems are dated, especially the HR systems. If you want to a place you have to clock in and out, this is your place folks!

Pros

It's a job. The people are amazing! Love my leadership & team members. (inContact division)

Cons

After a wildly successful company, (inContact) was acquired by NICE the company (inContact division) is not a place I would recommend working. Most of the perks have been stripped away, in that ensuring inContact employees are happy and wish to stay long-term is not an investment NICE is willing to make. The healthcare benefits package has fallen dramatically. The pay is well below market value. Unable to hire new talent or replace lost headcount. Especially US-based employees. Perks & benefits offered to NICE employees are not extended to inContact employees, specifically US-based employees. inContact's revenue is carrying NICE, yet the decisions & policies made by NICE's CEO Barak Eilam are having a serious negative impact on the future, and success of inContact. The company that hire me, the one I once loved is gone. I don't have faith the CEO of NICE has the ability to replicate what Paul Jarman created.

Thanks for leaving us a review. Our employee surveys always point to strong trust in the vision and strategy of our leadership and most importantly our CEO. We also offer all employees a competitive compensation and benefits package. We have an annual calendar of processes in place, to review our employees’ performance and reward them accordingly. There is a broad merit process as well as bonuses, allowing for increases in pay. This has continued throughout the pandemic and even in today’s challenging market conditions, despite many other companies recently cutting salaries, laying off employees, decreasing bonuses or dropping them entirely. If you have any specific concerns, then we recommend that you reach out to your HR Business Partner to address them.
