Pros

Worked with many great people here!

Cons

Upper management restructuring was a failure. New restructuring needed to bring back the trust and employee dedication that once was.

Pros

Legacy products were built to last however newer products are being introduced to the market half baked

Cons

Toxic culture: under-staffing is the norm, low wages, inconsistent enforcement of SOPs and Employee Handbook policies & guidelines, and complete failure to adhere to standard business practices and med device industry guidelines

We appreciate your feedback as it allows us to continuously evaluate and improve our collaborative environment. We apologize that your experience within our culture was not positive. It is of high importance that we follow and enforce policies and guidelines in the Employee Handbook. Therefore, we highly encourage open communication and transparency to address issues and develop solutions together. While there is always room for improvement, our overall turnover is significantly better than industry average, our employee tenure is higher than national averages, and our employee satisfaction scores continue to improve year over year. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

I got a paycheck and once upon a time I did think this was the best and most rewarding job out there. For years and years I was so proud to say I worked here and then the new management came and everything good stopped and then there were no pros at all.

Cons

They have hired so many vp and managers who don't add anything. I know, lots of people think the big wigs don't do anything but here they REALLY don't do anything except make it nearly impossible to get any work that will have any benefit or positive result done. People who actually do work never get hired, just more and more layers of management. If there was any strategy that came out of all these managers that would have been great, but really it was a bunch of friends and relatives that get hired with no deliverables or expectations of deliverables required. If you are good at your low or mid level job, great, you get more and more work until you want to scream. You probably also get a few new layers of management. If you are bad at your job, that is also great, you probably already have a vp title and a huge paycheck. I miss the former VP of Patient Monitoring, that guy really made working there mean something and we were proud of what we did. The last few years i was there were really just me hoping it would change and something would happen to make any improvements, but it never did. I realized the change that needed to happen was with me, and it the needed change was me working somewhere else, so that is exactly what I did.

We appreciate that you took the time to write a review on Glassdoor. As a company that is consistently growing at a rapid pace, we make the effort to review and consider employee (and former employee) feedback. Over the last 2.5 years, we have grown our business by double digits and have more than doubled our overall employee headcount to keep up with our rapid success. Although we have increased our overall employee headcount by more than 200%, we have only expanded our management by ~ 5%. Our hiring process requires that multiple representatives at various levels from different departments be involved, to help provide candid feedback regarding our candidates and to ensure that we hire qualified candidates. We are glad that you valued the former VP of Patient Monitoring. We wish you luck with the opportunity you decided to pursue.
