Pros

-Excellent call center environment -Bathroom breaks -Mental health hotline

Cons

-I worked at NAB as an SDR for over a year with nothing but great feedback from my boss and colleagues. I had never been disciplined for any reason until one day I was fired without notice, warning or severance pay for violating a company policy that I didn't know existed.

I am sorry to hear about your termination, I am sure that being terminated from your company for any reason can be stressful and difficult to manage. I tried to investigate your specific claims but we have not had any SDR terminations - especially for policy voilation - so I cannot speak to your particular situation. I will say that violating company policy at NAB - or any company - can be the basis for a termination for cause. Our People Operations and Legal teams know that handling terminations due to policy violations requires careful consideration, professionalism and empathy and they do their best every day to uphold our company policies. I wish you luck in finding your next job opportunity.

Pros

If I could give this place zero stars I would… absolutely zero pros.

Cons

The training is basically non existent. Management is beyond shady… will straight up LIE and beat around the bush to you about what you will actually make commission wise… the FEW people that have been there a while all says it takes basically a year to actually make hardly anything in commission if you’re lucky. HR does nothing to try to fix these issues even though multiple people have said something about it. Not to mention they try to make you do things that are BY LAW illegal and will just tell you to not say anything about it.

We appreciate your review and take all feedback seriously. Your feedback was concerning as we strive to provide robust training and a strong, positive workplace culture for all of our team members. To assist with this response, we reached out to Adam Victor, our Vice President of Sales who shared: "The level of commission earned by our Sales Representatives is directly related to their individual results. The commission plan is always clearly stated on each offer letter - with examples - and candidates are given plenty of opportunity to review the plan for clarity before, during and after onboarding with NAB. Our sales leadership team has an open-door policy and any team member is welcome to ask questions in regard to their compensation at any time. As far as 'legality' is concerned, this is a very serious remark and we want to ensure none of our team members are attempting to undermine the law. If you believe something illegal was asked of you during your time of employment, please direct the scenario to me immediately - avictor@nabancard.com - so we can address the situation. We have zero tolerance for unethical behavior and it is our expectation that team members will either alert leadership or contact our anonymous ethics hotline if they have relevant information to share." I encourage you to take Adam up on his offer to discuss this situation further. Thank you for your time and we wish you the best in your future career path.

Pros

I was hired to work for HMS as a field service technician with a company that has a strong and powerful presence in the POS industry. I was told many times how great I was as an employee alongside many others and we were family. Randy Brown is an amazing manager and awesome to work for!

Cons

NAB bought HMS and fired most of the force

In order to give your response the careful attention it deserved, I turned to Eric Yusefzadeh, General Manager of our Hospitality Operations, of which HMS was a part. Eric shared, "We greatly appreciate what you and the broader HMS team brought to NAB and the Hospitality organization. HMS was acquired 3 years ago for the POS technology and the unique talent & expertise it brought to our Payments groups. While it might feel differenly, the recent reduction of overlapping or overstaffed positions was a very small percentage of our overall Hospitality Implementation & Support teams. It took us months and months to review the business metrics and data to ensure we were rightsizing appropriately and we did our best to generously care for our impacted team members. I do understand how challenging it is when something like this happens, but considering your skills, I am sure this is just a temporary setback. We're grateful to you and all of the team members for your hard work and contributions to the business & our customers."
