Pros

None I can think of.

Cons

Many. Employee satisfaction and proper work environment is least of their concern. Are cases done on time? Are we making money? These are the things they are interested in. When an employee makes them aware of a problem it will be corrected only if it benefits them. They take over a hospital, initialy some one is there from Northstar to get the department staffed and running ,then nobody comes periodically to see how everything is. You are left at the mercy of the in charge. Good Luck if you are working for NorthStar.

2017 was a tough year on many different fronts, including a difficult set of right-sizing events that affected many individuals and families. The Executive Leadership team recognizes that changes were needed and we are in the midst of many of them right now as this post is getting added to this site. While a large amount of our work is focused on supporting our tremendously talented Physicians and CRNAs in the field, we are equally committed to our amazing corporate employees being heard, and changing the culture to one that relies on Accountability through clear Definitions and clear Communication. No one and no place is ever perfect, but we will get better. Thanks for your feedback.

Pros

Honestly, not very many pros here. At one point there were some great people working here, but it has been completely overrun by executives brought in to run a business they don't understand thus ensuing a 15+ person exec team all on a power trip.

Cons

They treat their employees are if they all can be replaced at a moment's notice. They are far more concerned about who is on who's side, instead of who is contributing the most value to the business. Don't even get me started on the culture and environment this has created- it's an every man for himself mentality coupled with the notion that if you don't have your MBA from a big wig business school then your contributions are worthless.
