Pros

Ok wages. Success Share. 10% annual bonus. Okay health benefits. $25 gift cards given by management for going above and beyind Upper management and CEO is ok. Fun team building activities. Many training opportunities. Work/life balance is okay - can work with manager to pick hour range (7:30-4:30, 8-5, etc.)

Cons

Wages not especially competitive (lower end of market range) Lots of gossip/people acting as though they never left high school. Bullying from peers and management. Obvious employee favoritism from managers. Micromanagement in some areas - cannot work on a project without manager being heavily involved, inciting lack of productivity. Lack of good management in other areas. Discouraged from speaking with HR about issues involving coworkers/managers. Opinions on projects/how things could be done are discouraged. Temporary employees are sometimes treated like lesser people because they are temporary. Too many meetings about meetings. Have overheard racial slurs, the "r" word, and using "gay" as a profanity on many occasions - discouraged from speaking out. Have overheard people making fun of mental disabilities - again, discouraged from bringing it up.

Pros

Good starting pay for what you do in this role. The Operators Union - which you are required to join - offers training and certifications on all types of equipment. Many of the customers and a good portion of co-workers are great to know. As said in many reviews, Ken Taylor is a good guy. His staff keeps the blinders on him, but I believe him to be a genuinely good person. Probably the most visible and transparent CEO I've come across.

Cons

Where to begin... DRAMA! So much, it's like a Jerry Springer episode almost daily. We have people that are definitely not meant for their positions. Lots of politics, poor direction, inconsistencies in policy, etc. Constantly dealing with bad attitudes, disrespectful and lazy co-workers, mismanagement, among many other things. Sick time is a joke. 5

Pros

Good pay, 5 personal days off a year on top of vacation days

Cons

CEO is blind to what's actually going on in the company. Management is toxic. Company grew too rapidly, full of people that can't do their job or shouldn't be in their current position. Multiple ways of earning bonuses but management finds plenty of loop holes so they don't have to pay you. Tons of greed within management. No praise for a job well done but quick to point out flaws and will bring up flaws over and over for long periods of time. The main goal of all managers is to pass off their own work onto others and line their own pockets. Total lack of communication within the entire company
