Pros

Coworkers are nice and welcoming.

Cons

They have a really strict point system which doesn't benefit people with families. The job is slow paced and can get easily boring. The raises are barely anything for all the work we have to do throughout the year. The training also sucks.

Pros

Big company if you like that. Health benefits are good. They pay for parking in downtown Cincy if you work at HQ. Depending on your management, there's a chance for you to move departments to find what you want to be when you grow up.

Cons

Pay is below average. Dealing with the stigma Omnicare has built for itself. Layoffs about once a year, with everyone left to pick up all the slack with no appreciation, help, acknowledgement, support. Very underwhelming recognition for accomplishments, job well done, working hard, going above and beyond. Communication stinks at all levels. Processes are pathetic for such a large company. Raises are sad. Omnicare consistently succeeds despite itself. It's all very typical large corporate company stuff...

Pros

No weekends. Discount at retail cvs stores.

Cons

No room for advancement. Only raises are given once per year based on performance. If you are exceeding all expectations, you might get a quarter. No training- they teach you how to navigate the computer systems but not how to resolve customer issues. No culture- you might get acknowledged if you are a favorite. No loyalty- if you exceed the point system for absences you are fired. Points stay for a full year. No parking- arrive early or walk from another building's lot. No incentives. Health insurance will consume a large percentage of your paycheck. Salary is lower than area average for similar jobs. No professionalism. Meetings are held in a walking area between desks. Can't hear? Too bad. There is a lunch room and multiple conference rooms but they are not used. There are only 6 bathroom stalls for over 200 people. It's filthy. Bedbugs have been an ongoing issue. The lunch room features free coffee vending machines which are constantly breaking down. No environmental consciousness. Styrofoam cups and single use plastics are provided with no recycling services. It's unsafe. No safety training, no fire drills.
