Pros

Working at OneGlobe has been such a rewarding experience. The company truly values its people and invests in their growth, offering opportunities for professional development, learning, and meaningful contribution. I love working with the people I do—it makes every day at work easy and even fun. Management is amazing; they listen, genuinely care, and make you feel that your input is valued. Recognition for hard work is real and consistent, which motivates you to give your best every day. The flexible PTO policy allows for a healthy work-life balance, and the collaborative, supportive culture is contagious—it inspires everyone to do their best and makes work enjoyable.

Cons

I do not have any cons to share.

Pros

Amazing place to work with very respectful project managers and engineers.

Cons

Only con I can think of is that it's a government job, so it comes with being associated and helping the government. This is the best company to do that though.

Pros

There is a very flexible PTO policy (you can elect more than what's offered by taking a slight salary reduction, up to five weeks. There's no office, so it's entirely work from home with no signs of that changing any time soon, so you're unlikely to have to worry about being ordered to return to an office. There's a strong commitment to continuing education.

Cons

They are entirely too dependent on one agency (FEMA) for work, which seriously jeopardizes the company's long-term viability in the present political climate. As a result, they've hired a small army of business development people, some of whom have abrasive and unpleasant personalities that don't mesh with the existing corporate culture at all and who treat existing employees like they're idiots because they haven't always done things their way. The amount of condescenion that's now par for the course is astounding. It's turning into a culture with a fundamental lack of respect for many long-term people, and it's going to cost the company in the long run. The owners seem oblivious to what these changes are doing. Fundamentally, there's a whole body of work on how to manage change in an organization that seems to be ignored in favor of a "let's just blow things up indiscriminately and see where the chips fall" mentality that is at odds with the OneGlobe that I've enjoyed.
