Well funded tech startup in growing privacy space

Pros

-CEO is open, hard working and accessible to all employees -Title-less culture so ability to execute is rewarded over years of experience -Private funding allows company to focus on winning rather than worry about making payroll -Start-up culture means we get to move fast and make decisions quickly. Little to no red tape to get things done. -Salaries are high and new benefits including better healthcare options (PPO with FSA and HDHP with an HSA - huge tax benefits to both), snacks in the break rooms, and more benefits are on the way. -Departments are well-staffed and if persons are being overworked leadership quickly approves for additional headcount. -Technology is best in the market and the company is synonymous with privacy management in the industry -Get to work for the leader, not the follower, in the privacy space Working in the privacy management space is personally rewarding. I truly believe that the work we is a major net benefit to society. I didn't think about the importance of personal privacy until I started working for OneTrust, now I see the ways that big companies are incredibly invasive and manipulative with the information they have on us, and new privacy laws put the control back into the hands of us, the people, and technology like OneTrust helps companies make privacy a business differentiator. I believe that companies that position themselves as a privacy-first organization will win in the end. I would recommend anyone interested in working for OneTrust speak to current employees about concerns you may have about some of the reviews on this site from former employees. I have not had any of these experiences of yelling/cursing/working weekends/not feeling empowered or in control of my career. At any time that issues are brought up to leadership, they are resolved quickly. I legitimately love working for OneTrust!

Cons

OneTrust is a rapidly growing start up, and when you are building new technology in a new space, you will be required to work, and work hard. While this is definitely the case, leadership is open to flexible working options to maintain work/life balance.

Sweat shop, horrible leadership, low morale

Pros

The new coffee machine is nice when it's not broken. Occasionally there is fresh fruit for free in the break rooms. At least once a week your bosses and CEO won't curse or yell at you.

Cons

Some of the worst, selfish, uncaring, horrible management I've ever seen. Sweat shop is the perfect description. H1Bs are taken advantage of and worked to the bone because management knows they can't quit. It's a constant revolving door of employees, many don't last even 6 months. Stop hoping for equity, the management is greedy and you won't receive it. Each department is run like a fiefdom, horribly micromanaged. Benefits, aside from health insurance, are nonexistent. Hope you negotiated a very high salary because that is all you will get. Morale is extremely low and you can tell many people are looking for jobs. Lots of good talent has already left, and the product is clearly worse because of it. HR clearly trying to up the rating on here by posting fake one sentence reviews. Just don't do it. You will regret it.
