Pros

At times I worked alongside many good people. Fortunately the vast majority have been able to resign, those that remain typically feel trapped, either by false promises or complex personal circumstances.

Cons

Directionless, priorities change hour to hour. No internal communication, all decisions are made without consultation by the ever expanding C suite leaving front line staff left to suffer the consequences/workload. Hire ~1000 people to sack them months later - twice. CEO cannot be trusted - says one thing and means another - unable to front up to criticism and shirks moral obligations - pretends the past (often days previously) has never happened. Blinded by his own greed and power. The only things that matter to this company are selling, even in immoral circumstances, and their IPO. If you enjoy misery, being lied to and existing as a total irrelevance to your employer, then this is the company for you.

Pros

- Great product vision - Interesting field of work (ESG, Climate, Compliance, Ethics) - International company with high growth Ambitions

Cons

- Management is outstandingly bad. I have never seen so many C-Level positions and titles, yet they have no sense for what the company or the clients needs. - Everything is pointed to one thing and one thing only: the IPO. This target has paramount. Everything else is considered less important and the corporate values are only existing on paper. - Pretty much everyone you work with has given up personal drive & ambitions. Most people either stay because they don't have a new job or because they make good money at the moment or because they hope to get rich with the IPO. All personal motivations to do good with what one does have been suffocated over the years. - The products are sometimes not market-ready (!). While some modules work quite well, others are not meeting customer requirements or are basically not finished beta versions. Still, in the name of growth and the IPO, sales is pushed to sell these solutions. - The company itself doesn't use it's own solutions. Therefore, e.g. ESG or ethics are not lived.

Pros

When I joined there were a lot of great people to work with. I like to think most of them anhabe left by now.

Cons

Lack of strategy, transparency, and leadership. The only thing that matters to that company is their IPO. I joined because of the product and the purpose they promised would come with it. Don’t make the same mistake! They will tell you they’ve changed but this is their second time of forfeiting their employees over profit. Going through redundancies to hire people in cheaper geographical areas at the same time and C suite level people of course.
