This is fine…

Pros

-Comfy Chairs. -Getting to meet lots of new HR representatives. -You receive a $200 bonus (before taxes) for a decade of loyalty. -The memories I have two years prior to this post.

Cons

-ELT egos and unwillingness to adapt, which is why most with tenure have left. -Chairs actually aren't that comfy. -Pay is a huge factor of why people leave. Very little right-sizing for the value someone brings. For most, raises don't even cover inflation at the grocery store let along combat the rising housing market for the flagship office. When this was brought up on a call with ELT we were told that we were lucky to have our location as it could be relocated for less. -Watching people write fake/inflated reviews to boost CEO approval ratings

Great co-workers, bad company

Pros

Co-workers are very nice and everyone gets along well. Direct supervisors are great too, and most of them started as analysts so they understand problems, etc and there is no disconnect Good work-life balance most of the time

Cons

Terrible ELT Profits over employees. Raises averaged 2.5%, no bonuses were given for the last few years, and the company's holiday gift to its employees was $15 worth of random stuff. The company is going through a large amount of attrition because the pay and benefits are both bad, and while most employees are in support of (at least the choice to) work-from-home, the company is pushing us into the office more and more. When attrition is brought up, the ELT addresses it by saying they can always backfill. They absolutely do not value low and mid level employees. If you need a job out of college and want to get into the industry, it's an ok place to start. But for anyone with aspirations, or anyone who supports a family, this is NOT a career.

Awful place to work

Pros

Used to have amazing and highly skilled coworkers who cared about the company...but most of them have left and newbies have no clue what they're doing. A good amount of flexibility.

Cons

Everything else. Executive leadership is a joke. Doesn't value its employees who are expected to do increasing amounts of work for no extra pay. They won't fix the technology needed to efficiently do the job, so most analysts spend more time than necessary troubleshooting or manually doing the tasks that a functional system would normally do. Experienced analysts have done an amazing job shielding the clients from these issues BUT as experienced analysts leave, newer employees are unable to maintain the same standards. I can only imagine the number of clients that are getting ready to leave for companies with cheaper services and more functional systems.
