Pros

-Dishonesty: no really it becomes 2nd nature to lie to each other then together lie to customers! -Blatant disregard for human decency: 4 toilets | 4 urinals for 300 people overrun with jurassic pubs from the Indian type...4 toilets | 4 urinals for an occasional visitor. -Handy electrical tape securing the battery on your Y2K issued laptop - trust me, your battery would not stay fastened without it!

Cons

-The desensitization and realization that you committed career suicide by joining OATI. -For Sales Executives: Only if you are looking for absolutely zero marketing, zero advertising, no lead generation, no collaboration, no branding, no budget, and no common sense! However, state of the art technology does apply which includes a Samsung [circa 2002] flip phone with a 200 minute monthly cap and a laptop kinda [carbon dating necessary to determine age]. There will be no other device or technology at your disposal, unless you pay for it yourself!

Pros

I thought about pros for almost an hour but can not come up with even a single one so NO. PROS..

Cons

There are several cons and its really hard to summarize it so I will try to put up the worst points: # Absolutely no flexibility at work. Strict 8-5 working hours with 1 hour lunch and when I say 8-5 that means 8:00:00:00 to 5:00:00 so you cant skip a second , else be prepared to be humiliated by the management. # Managers with no management degree or experience. # Low salary and poor /No appraisals. # Ancient tools for developers to work on, No IDE, no automation in testing, no QA proces, no coding standards, no SDLC. # No product training for new employees, # No documentation whatsoever for any product or tool being used. # Company doesn't believe in investing in Employee skill development. # Poor infrastructure , outdated hardware, no phones, small monitors,no laptops, # Limited and basic benefits. # Time off policies are ridiculous, No sick leaves or unpaid PTOs. # Policies are not unanimous among all employees. exceptions are made based on favouritism. # No motivation or encouragement in any form for the teams. # Nobody cares about how much you work, only care about if you are in office before 8 or after 5.

Pros

I am sorry but I have nothing to praise about OATI.I started working here with a lot of dreams and enthusiasm but it all turned out to be a lie and eye opener where employees are exploited for being naive and honest.

Cons

#First you are made to work with obsolete company proprietery scripting laguage known as webplus. #Technical jargon from Energy/power industry that only they know about is thrown at you and you are expected to nod your head. No training on business logic, concepts provided. #The most cheap software development tool like notepad++ are provided for development since its basically scripting that you need to do. # Debugging methodologies are obsolete. No automation tools used for testing debugging or development because they cost money. # No scope for learning a new skills or technology. So basically you are screwed. #Limited/No internet access to read any good technical articles. # Employee development is nil. # No appreciation of hard work. #Emphasis on coming to work at 8:00 AM "SHARP" and leave after 5 only with a exact 1 hour lunch break. #Managers keep an eye on you even if you go to pee or drink water. #More Managers than developers with poor management, product or technical knowledge. #Less pay.Not very attractive perks or bonuses. #You have to beg in front of the Management if you want your manager to give you a good appraisal and make him count your contributions. #Software Developers are expected to play the role of developers , technical support , Business Analyst , DBAs and testers. #No QA team for testing any code changes. #Improper implementation of SDLC ,mismanaged software development environment. #IRONY OF WORKING HERE : You will be yelled at if you come even a minute late after 8 but if you stay late after 5 for work no one will appreciate you. # On top of all the crap expectations from management is to work over weekends. Developers are also expected to go on customer support for full weeks including weekends without any overtime or time compensation. # They keep a close vigil on you if you are on phone for too long.Probably think you are looking for a new job . #No consideration if you want more than 10 days off in case you are travelling abroad or watever reasons. #IN A NUT SHELL : Please dont waste your precious time here.Work at a place where you will be recognised for your hardwork not your timings.
