It's disappointing to hear you feel so negatively about Ore, but we do appreciate you being honest and sharing your frustrations. Assuming you do still work here, we'd appreciate a chance to further discuss ways to improve. Ore is a non-retaliatory employer and we welcome feedback (good or bad) from everyone. With that in mind, we hope you feel comfortable sharing these concerns with your Lead/Supervisor/Manager or a member of the HR team. They're here to help remove obstacles and frustrations and make Ore a better place to work. In the meantime, let me respond to a few of your concerns:
The "absolute highest turnover rate at ever level"...
Ore has a 6.9% Average Monthly Turnover Rate this year. This is company-wide. It's Ore's position that any employee who leaves Ore (whether involuntarily or voluntarily) is a failure on our part, and it means we either 1) failed to train adequately, 2) failed to retain successfully, or 3) as you put it, we "suck at hiring". Sometimes it's one of the aforementioned and sometimes it's a combination of all three. So we're addressing all three: Training, Retaining, and Hiring.
As a member of the Executive Team with intimate knowledge of all hirings and firings, I can confirm that there is always more to the situation that someone on the outside knows. It's true, we've experienced turnover of upper management and that has created some challenges, but we're confident we're improving as a company and things will continue to get better. Change in and of itself is hard, especially for those who don't have all the details and insight behind the change, and Ore can do better at communicated why changes are made. And we will.
"Production [employees] get the heat"...
Management is aware of, and constantly hi-lights with compliment, the efforts of our Production Employees. We know they are working as hard and as fast as they can and it's shared publicly in company-wide meetings the appreciate we feel for our employees in the shop. We celebrate and recognize the fact that our Production Employees are the ones who dig us out of difficult situations and we value them tremendously.
We are working through our Pre-Production processes to improve them and thereby alleviate the strains that the mistakes made in this area of the business places on Production. We welcome your feedback ...if even critical or negative... and would like to discuss solutions with you to make things better.
