Pros
Incredibly nice and qualified workers - especially in the cores, but also among the researchers (PhD students, postdocs, research assistants, and staff scientists).
Cons
The OHSU administrative/economic system is a horrible and bloated environment, with selfish and hostile people at nearly every level of leadership. The school is gouging its postdoc workers as they try to negotiate for pay raises above the NIH minimum. In a recent townhall on the university's financial structure, the OHSU CFO lamented that so many groups are unionizing on campus (PhD students, MD residents, postdocs, research staff, nurses - all within a few years!). He spoke about the intentional recruitment of patients with private health insurance because more profits could be made from them. He told researchers that OHSU would never agree to increase the research budget to reduce its current profits (apparently it's a 3:1 ratio of profit to investment, currently). I could not recommend this place to anyone to do research!
