Pay has solid upside, with good base compensation, and meaningful earnings potential for high performers. Advancement is merit-based rather than driven by politics or tenure, and safety is taken seriously with no expense spared on equipment and ongoing training

Cons

Career growth is limited... raises tend to hover around 3%, barely keeping pace with inflation, and promotions are difficult to come by even for long-tenured employees.

Started well, but as changes have changed, I no longer can find one

Cons

Old boys club, if you're not in the club, it doesn't matter what you do, you're the scapegoat Lousy pay, they are cheap, they will cut corners Change for the worse to pinch pennies. They will make you travel during training on your own dime, they will not guarantee downtime from training, and this is a change from what they used to. If you're not a field employee, you're an expendable slave.

Some contracts are better than others, management leaves a lot to he desired, highly autonomous work if you're proven dependable

Cons

Not knowing how to bid jobs properly effects retention and morale, strong leadership only goes so far when customer facing side is incompetent.
