Pros

2-3 years ago it was a good company but now they have hired incompetent Indian directors and managers they started playing their politics like hiring their knowns and promoting them or someone who does whatever they want and align with their politics without thinking whether this right or wrong. So in short if you are known to them or do blinding follow their instruction then it could be an option for you.

Cons

1. Too much politics by indian engineering leadership. 2. Hire and fire culture. 3. They have fired many people by calling them in office and fired them in front of everyone. It's not just for few rather for so many people. 4. They always try to hide their face by blaming junior engineers so that their US-Canada bosses couldn't see their incompetency. 5. Now they have ruined work life balance. Now they want you to work till 11PM IST and their day starts at 10 AM. 6. They will always talk about AI and all fancy stuff so that developers feel motivated and start thinking that perhaps someday they will do something good and keep on working with them. 7. Gradually they are converting it into service based company where they need your every hour work done report. 8. Too much micromanagement, suppose if you give 3 points to a story then they need what will you do in each hour. So in short for 3 day story 1 day you would need to explain why this would take 3 days .

Pros

- If you're in Markham, it will be better if you're hired on In-store or PixelPoint team, if you're being hired for Integrations team, you can happily reject the offer.

Cons

- They talk really big about "Culture" in the Integrations team but it's nothing just seeking validation for your entire existence from a group of 3-4 people (one of whom is also racist) - If this group of people happen to like you then you can survive as they will always have your back. But, if they don't like you, you're in for hell. - The team environment is way too competitive, the mentality is "who finishes more tasks in current sprint?" - It is always expected for you to work much more than 8 hours. A typical day will look like 12-15 hours. - Senior developers generally make junior developers look bad before the manager for their own benefit or to make themselves look the best on the team. - Manager is extremely biased and always only listens to this group of people and will never listen to your side if you fall under the category of this group not liking you. - Testing team has testers who don't work for most of the day and always try too hard to seek validation from this group. So in case this group does not like you, the tester in question will make you look the worst dev in the team. - There is no place for exploring different technologies whatsoever. - This team only cares about their reputation before San Diego team and wants the San Diego team to think Integrations is worlds best team. - The manager of this and the product owner happen to be really close and friends also ex-colleagues and the product owner's attitude generally states that "i own you" and anything i will convey to the manager will be the final decision (this is true since the manager listens to this person way too much).

Pros

- Timely salary payments without delay - Comprehensive medical policy

Cons

- Toxic Work Environment: The company has deteriorated significantly over the past few years due to poor management and a rise in office politics. - Ineffective Leadership: My manager, despite having international experience, is the mastermind behind the office politics. He prioritizes placing his acquaintances in roles over dedicated employees who have been working hard to achieve company goals. - Lack of Professionalism: He prevents his team from connecting with leadership, often blaming individuals publicly while using foul language in private communications. There is a significant lack of respect for female employees. - Manipulative Practices: My manager creates a false image for leadership by manipulating data to highlight minor failures while ignoring significant achievements. He backbites about team members rather than providing constructive feedback. - Unfair Treatment: Employees who agree with everything he says are rewarded, while those who offer honest feedback or suggest improvements are targeted and marginalized. Opportunities, such as working abroad, seem to be reserved for his close friends.
