-This company is not for everybody. They definitely have a particular type of personality in mind when they hire. It will be a real tough road if you are a bit on the introverted side. This is a very sales oriented company, and even if you're not in a sales position, you are expected to portray that "sales-y" persona at all times.
-Management tends to stick you into a box very quickly, and once they do, it's nearly impossible to break out of it, even if you continue to produce quality work. First impressions are everything here, so make sure that you knock them out of the park, as they will largely determine your fate.
-I found that my job description changed quite a bit between time of hire and my start date. I was originally told that I wouldn't have to do any selling, since I took a job in the corporate offices in Orange. Afterwards though, I found that I was being pressured to go "into the field" and do selling with a more experienced agent. I accepted it without hesitation, but when I found that none of the sales agents in the field had time for me to work with them, I was the one blamed for this.
- Despite quality work and praise form many of my fellow employees and team members for the job I did, managers and executives would always find a reason, however small, to tear it down and make it seem meaningless. However, others would get rewarded and praised for doing the simplest of tasks. If you are not one of the favorites, you will have a hard time here.
-It's a very "dog eat dog" environment. Certain employees will be friendly to your face, but will not hesitate to throw you under the bus behind your back. If you're looking for a workplace with a flatter hierarchy and where office politics are de-emphasized, this is not the company for you.
