Pros

Good POTENTIAL for learning new skills and other professional development...

Cons

...but that all depends on the choice of leadership. I worked there for 6-and-a-half years and the 1st 6 offered plenty of opportunities to learn and grow and work hard. But then the person who had been my supervisor, who had been with the company for 15+ years and possessed invaluable knowledge and experience, was told he could move to another department or just quit altogether. He was replaced and the mood of the department changed overnight. His toxic replacement was, as I expected and had observed duing the previous 6 years, was a divide-and-conquer style of supervisor: she selected team members to be marginalized and micro-managed and others to be propped up and enabled, regardless of their mediocre performance and unprofessional behavior. She spent a disproptionate amount of her time scrutinizing my work, all the while threatening to get rid of me at the end of my final quarter of employment if my productivity did not improve (no one had had a problem with my productivity in the previous 6 years) and when my productivity improved to the new standard she would review my finished work each night and often UNDO much of it WHILE at the same time prohibiting me to doing work assigned to my job level/rank. I've remained in contact with my former teammates, and they now have to spend a lot of time responding to and acknowledging emails from this supervisor and have been contacted by the same supervisor on weekends vacation time for so-called emergencies. Leadership chose the wrong people to lead for them.
