Pros
PROS has some really great people who are incredibly motivated to get stuff done and will work as hard as they need to in order to get things across the finish line. On the technical side PROS does a good job of keeping up to date with industry standards and there is room to experiment with various tools in order to get the job done. PROS has a very nice new office in Houston and they have been very good at making it optional to be in the office.
Cons
Upper management at PROS can feel out of touch more often than not. For a company that prides itself on transparency there is a surprising amount opaqueness when dealing with upper management. When discussing hiring, onboarding, career leveling, talent retention, salary, etc.. you will often find that there will be no clear answer to your question. Or the other popular answer is "We are working on it" ; however they refuse to show their work until something is actually done. Work life balance can definitely be an issue at times as well. It can be very easy to get burnt out if you aren't careful and it can sometimes feel like you always need to be available.
