      1.Family-like work environment 2. Very employee friendly culture with flexible hours, vacation, sick and family leave 3. Competitive compensation as well as bonus; pay raise is generous. 4. Various projects to take on if one expects to learn and grow in the careers 5. Perks such as cultural lunches once a month, international potluck, employee picnic and amazing holiday party

      Cons

      1. Favoritism is obvious; it makes sense tha you work hard enough to get promoted once within few years; however to get promoted for twice a year, you need to be close to the management 2. Unprofessional people could stay because they stay long enough even without effectiveness and production.

      Pros

      Cross functionally, folks are very collaborative and open to working together. Overall PTC really pulls together like family.

      Cons

      They can't keep up with compensation and don't offer geographical pay. And when you drill into specific departments and team functions, it's a mess. Unfortunately, there are pockets of managers who devalue women; when brought to the attention of HR, they didn't do anything about it because it's the good old boys club. Others have told their employees to focus only on their positions, not on professional growth or stretch assignments. Basically, swim in your own lane. They've changed a lot, and it's sad to see.
