Toxic HR Overshadows CEO and Benefits

Pros

CEO seems like a great person with a vision for caring for the communities we serve leveraging technology to meet members where they are. Benefits are great. Office is beautiful when you go in office.

Cons

HR is toxic and driving the company into the ground. Senior Vice President and Vice President of HR seem to be hell bent on moving jobs to red states and punishing employees in blue states.

Decent pay and benefits, but management is lacking

Pros

Pros: Decent pay, solid benefits, and a comfortable work environment. The option to work remotely or in a hybrid setting also added flexibility and made the role more appealing.

Cons

Cons: Poor management, limited support, and inconsistent training. Outside of IT, it was very difficult to get help when needed. Management and HR also handled employee concerns poorly. In my case, a dispute with a coworker over my supposedly “rude look” turned into criticism of my natural facial expression, including being told to have a “kinder face and attitude.” The situation felt unprofessional and disrespectful, and I chose to resign shortly after.
