Pros

- A lot of attention to software quality - Tight-knit teams - Fantastic office space: location, decor, snacks, near AT&T Park - Typically there's not a lot of ego

Cons

- Product development is *slow* because of over-engineering - Some teams too "clique-y" - Not enough transparency - Very little cross-departmental collaboration - Lack of ethnic diversity in general - Spotty gender diversity in some departments - Too slow to take action on low performers - Lots of meetings, even for individual contributors

Pros

Hybrid/remote friendly culture Good people left but they either get laid off or pushed out by management’s decisions

Cons

Layoffs every year Used to famously have a no (word for rude people staring with A) policy that one of the founders publicly mentioned in an interview, sadly this founder (who’s great!) retired from the day to day and now there’s very rude executives that work their teams to the bone while being disrespectful, entitled and rude. The CEO has proven that she’s not fit for the job, starting with the MLK PR fiasco and tanking stock price every quarter yet she continues to earn more and more while the people that are worked to their bones get bonuses cut or get laid off while the people that stay are expected to perform 3 jobs for the salary of one.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you value our hybrid/remote-friendly culture, and we appreciate your recognition of the great people on our teams. We understand that organizational changes can be difficult, and we take concerns about leadership and workplace culture seriously. We invite you to share any specific concerns with your manager, any People Manager, or your HRBP, so that we may continue to improve as a company. Thank you again for your honesty and commitment.

Pros

Great colleagues Product is well liked by customers Fun and impactful problems to solve for customers Great CSM org

Cons

Less than 10% of sales people hit quota Sales is managed by fear and misguided dogma. Make sure you are comfortable with the 1st, 2nd, and 3d line sales leadership. Back channel each and everyone during the interview process. There are some terrible leaders, esp. in the West, who might make a good impression in the interview but have no place in leadership. Request interviews with people of your choosing to get the "behind the scenes". Quota and white space are mismatched Extremely high staff turnover
