Employee discount when coming in to eat. Good menu and training. Good food. Main restaurant manager was great.

Cons

Slow turnover of tables and servers generally only get 3 tables. Servers who have been there the longest get better sections and the rest of the servers spend their shift running food for them. Uniform upkeep is either costly or time consuming if doing it yourself. I've never made as little serving tables as I did at this restaurant.

Cash every night. Good coworkers (servers/bartenders). Meet interesting guests. Flexible. Opportunity to move up.

Cons

MANAGEMENT! Rude guests/non-tippers. Uniform. Late hours on weekends. No breaks. No food at all after training. Pappadeaux only cares about their revenue, not the employees! As long as they get a check they're good.

MANAGEMENT!!! I have never seen a restaurant sabotage itself so much... they will go out of their way to make a servers job more difficult. We have highly sensitive kitchen managers who expedite. They don't care about anything other than making servers run food with no Exceptions...if you try to explain that you can't run food at that particular moment due to high volume of urgent demands from your table,some kitchen managers will literally scream at your face and belittle you. Literally if the managers weren't so aggressive over the smallest details that do not affect the customer this place would be awesome to work at .
