Great people, poor pay

Pros

The environment is fun and filled with great people. Many great offerings such as an on-site gym, employee appreciation events and community involvement. A good stepping-stone company.

Cons

Management is overpaid and employees are underpaid and unhappy. High turnover. Goals set to earn your bonus are unattainable. High cost medical coverage. No career development plan. Many clicks within the company. This also includes management and the HR/Talent Dept.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We 100% agree that our people are one-of-a-kind! We’re sorry to hear about your negative experience while part of our team, this is never our intent. We take a lot of pride in taking care of our team and feel fortunate to be able to offer other earning opportunities like quarterly profit sharing. We’ll be the first to admit we have room to develop our career development plans. We love our “own your career” philosophy that really empowers people to ask for what they want, but now that we have over 500 team members more structured career growth tracks are in the works. We’re excited to share these with our team in the coming months! If you have any other feedback to share please email talent@partstown.com so that we can connect.

Pros

I love working at Parts Town. I have seen many ups and downs over my time, but all-in-all it is a great company. The environment is open and friendly. We work hard and play hard.

Cons

The pay is lower, because they know that the employees are loyal and love the company. So comp is less important.

You’ve got it right, we work hard and play hard! We aren’t perfect and know with the rapid growth we’ve experienced that there are some ups and downs along the way, but we consider ourselves lucky to work with like-minded team members who embrace that change and enjoy the ride. It’s important to us that we offer a well-rounded benefits package to our team. This includes compensation, but other perks like quarterly profit sharing, on-site fitness center & game room, an on-site food market, and a casual work environment (hello, jeans every day!). We’d love to hear any additional feedback from you on ways we can improve our benefits package, stop by the Talent Team to chat!

My manage, VP and president are great to work with. Their benefits are great and an amazing Account Team in Toronto.
