Pros

Most of the people that work there are nice and try to make the work environment enjoyable. The pay and benefits during the first year are reasonable.

Cons

As an account manager, there is a lot of pressure put on you to perform well. In order to be successful at this company, you need to have a previous relationship with a decision maker, be a senior employee, or just be lucky; otherwise you will be gone after a year. When you first start, your portfolio will consist only of non buying accounts that nobody else wants. These customers already know who PartsSource is and what they do, but want nothing to do with the company. The overall business strategy does not put the company in a good position to grow.

Pros

In general, the people that work here are nice. Most of the teams try to make the workplace enjoyable by bringing in lunches. Company is moving in an interesting direction with regards to technology. Company growth despite poor economy/recession.

Cons

Senior management has no faith in middle management or other employees. No one but senior management is trusted to make a decision. No communication from management about anything, be it changes in the workplace, changes in the market, future vision of the company, etc. All information about the company and decisions being made are gathered from rumors and hearsay. Salary and benefits are sub-par. Company touts financial growth during recession as a huge accomplishment, then gives out smaller and smaller raises each year. Employee morale generally poor. HR put out a survey to some employees to investigate morale issues and what to do about it, but almost a year later, nothing has come of it. Friends and family of owner given special treatment, so everyone tries to get in good graces with owner, which means anyone will throw you under the bus to look good in front of him.

Pros

Aurora is a nice city which is centrally located to the Cleveland and Akron Metro areas. Due to high turn over, company is constantly hiring.

Cons

Profitable account portfolios are like squeezing blood from a stone. The majority of the employees (sales) do not have college degrees and are "used car salesmen". Oh yea, and good luck being promoted unless you are a family member or related to the owner.
