Management is constantly changing their approach, so they may have a big push and change it just a month or two in, before you have a chance to put it to practice, they tend to be very in love with themselves and gush about how amazing the company is, but they don't really seem to understand all the work that goes into it. No 401k match, lots of lip service about mental health and diversity, but little understanding about how to enact a culture that appreciates and cultivates both

Long hours (gotta reach your page view goals for the day) Pressure to increase page views Each month, the page views goal increase. While they say the page view count doesn't matter, but you get chewed out if you don't hit your numbers. Pressure to create content for "content partner" and to drive traffic to their sites. It's more of a content farm and aggregator site than a real reporting job.
