Pros

Paycom is a company where an individual who is willing to work hard and stretch themselves will grow both personally and professionally. The company has the best sales staff in the industry coupled with a great service model providing a great product to the client. Payco provides an environment where you will work hard in your role but will be rewarded greatly for your work.

Cons

Can't think of any right now.

Pros

Working with smart people, ability to contribute and train others, and if you spend enough time in the same job you become excellent at your job skills and gain a high level of education and business acumen. The system is robust and truly is the best in class and our CEO plans way into the future, always about 10 steps ahead of our competitors. Not to mention it’s no secret Paycom compensates well and has evolved its offerings to a modern workforce since we brought in a strategic HR leader. This is a company you can retire from well before age 65! For these reasons I stay the course and keep giving my best everyday! Come work here and you’ll have a longer non-working life!!!

Cons

You must be dedicated to putting Paycom first in your life the majority of the time. In my role, you are accessible most of your day, and to get it all done, you’ll be on a laptop many evenings or early mornings. Leaders really promote using your vacation and work-life balance, but that doesn’t change the work and what has to be done, so do double work preparing to be off or after you return. The good part of that is you are getting things done and done fast, but not everyone here that you have to rely on to get your job done works at that pace or has the training and knowledge to perform their job well. Improving this will make a major impact on life balance. Certain departments promote people before they’ve mastered the job because they display good “leadership” skills, but then they aren’t capable enough to fully support their subordinates, and because of growth there are many new employees who don’t know the system, and the internal processes (which need internal technology to improve) and that’s extremely important in supporting our customers.

Pros

High growth company - zero lay offs during the pandemic, in fact we were sent home to work to protect employees' health. On site we have a gym, catered in lunch at a cheaper rate, an employee park, and a beautiful campus. Good benefits package, managers invested in employee growth, employee stock opportunities, and a good place to learn management for entry level hires. Constant review of processes and development to improve the system and jobs.

Cons

Can be very demanding, requiring overtime and some busy times are over the holidays and no flex time. if you are used to a slower pace, it may be very difficult to learn and keep up.
