Pros
The benefits package is pretty good and I enjoy my teammates.
Cons
Upper management is severely disconnected as to what employees need or what. The job market post pandemic is very competitive in what employers offer. Paycom refuses to allow WFH options or to increase pay when most companies will do both. A recent shift to 5 days in office was announced and only a month notice. Additionally, it was promised on several occasions over the course of years that 4 days WFH and 1 day in office would be the permanent schedule. All trust has been lost in the integrity of this company for an entire department. The delivery of this news and the logistics were poorly planned and seemingly rushed. Due to this, I’m no longer confident in the decisions Paycom leadership makes. They constantly preach mental health and work life balance is important but their actions reflect otherwise. They constantly preach they care about their employees but again, their actions reflect otherwise. This company is no different than any other large corporation. Employees are highly expendable and they only care about making more money.
