Pros

Benefits are actually pretty decent.

Cons

Since the arrival of CEO Matthew Rubel the company culture has become unbearable driven by harrassment intimidation and unattainable goals.Threats and coertion in order to attain "acceptable" customer satisfaction numbers are a daily occurence. The message is make these constantly rising "goals" or else. The result is not only inaccurate but false and this is evidently the objective of senior management ie. Matt Rubel. The customer satisfaction "improvements" are proudly announced during quarterly earnings reports. How many other numbers are flawed?

Pros

Benefits are good. Schedule is good.

Cons

Payroll has been cut back and it seems like all of us (salaried managers) are working alone a lot more than before. When associates call out now we all have to work open to close alone because we are unable to hire extra staff for when this happens because, again, we have payroll cuts. The paper work is to an extreme lately. The company decided not to give annual raises this year but they have spent LOADS of money on technology that isn't helping us. Our stores are falling apart and there's nothing we can do about this.

Pros

They offer flexible schedules only to those that want a part time.

Cons

the company is extreamly demanding if the person has a higher position. They are very unfair with the managers, treat them unrespectfully and expect them to work as a slave. the stress level is highly intoreable and they ask for a lot but never give anything in return. A family member of mine use to work as a manager and always complained about working long hours even in her days off for no pay and skiping breaks because the company demanded them to do 100% of what they say. It is overwhelming and unrewarding.
