      Good, if sometimes stressful.

      Pros

      12 hour shifts! At most, you’ll work 3 days and have four off each week. Flexible schedule; staff creates the schedule.

      Cons

      This job requires you to deliver unwelcome news to other staff members. Not always, and not necessarily a con, but it’s something you should be prepared for before taking this job. It can be difficult to get time off. The department is small and has limited coverage.

      Pros

      Good staff to work with. Followed protocols put in place by Joint commission. Good patient care

      Cons

      Community hospital that Merged with PeaceHealth. Didn't know direction it was going. Had 2 sets of CNO and CEO fired within 2 years of working there. And a 3rd set fired within 3 months of leaving facility. Very chaotic for managers attempting to follow directives when they changed every couple of months.
