Pros

Freedom that comes with the job. Ability to work at your own pace. Communication skills you are forced to learn.

Cons

Physically exhausting, extremely stressful. Sometimes you feel as if you're on your own and you have nobody to back you up.

Pros

Great company. Nice co-workers and management. Decent pay for this area. Opportunities for advancement without a degree. Stable company; my job feels pretty secure. Pretty good benefits (6% 401k matching, no deductible on dental plan, college reimbursement, etc). Friendly atmosphere and lots of independence (doesn't feel like someone is looking over my shoulder all day). Overall good company to work for.

Cons

Turnover in higher paying positions is very, very low... so advancement opportunities are very limited unless you're willing to move to corporate (North Carolina).

Pros

Stable job is the only positive job experience. Provide free uniforms.

Cons

Vacation plan is the pits, Poor management - no team concept, seperation of divisions / no synergy Poor pay structure - hourly pay scale as well as incentive pay scale which is completely unfair. Drivers that work 5 minutes from shop receive same base pay as drivers that work an hour from shop. Required to buy black shoes only with no work shoe allowance. Good ole' boy system. Majority of employees dissatisfied with work enviroment / culture but need a job so nothing is said.
