A great place to start, no forward momentum though.

Pros

This company safe place to learn and develop through personally driven growth. There are opportunities for advancement for those who are sharp and agressive. This is also a very ethical organization that does strive to treat people with respect, so I never had to worry about being asked to do anything unethical or that anyone around me was doing anything unethical behind my back. There is also one key product discount offerred to employees that is killer, you can't beat it!

Cons

This company is a small subsidiary owned by two industry giants - this factor brings it's perks, but also it's disadvantages as well. When the company's ONLY client is also also part owner of the organization it creates a strange dynamic, almost a conflict of interest. In this environment the client is the king and this client does not have any faith in Percepta to do the job well or right. This lack of trust creates a stressful environment where little forward progress is made. Bottom line, this is a B2B services provider and the company only exists in order to save the primary client money. This cost-savings is the bottom line for this client, and as long as that is achieved they could care less if Percepta makes a profit at the end of the day.

Pros

They pay you a check every 2 weeks

Cons

Leadership is checked out, they don’t know how to coach and develop and will actually say it. They don’t keep their promises, I’ve yet to see an actual open door policy be enforced, they will selectively target a metric to either knock you out of a bonus or knock you down a tier. QA doesn’t listen to the weekly calibration meetings that they have. They tell you they have a plan for your development but don’t share it, or act on it. I would reach out to the hr email address that will undoubtedly be given if there was a guarantee that my job was safe from retaliation. TLs are overworked. Supervisors don’t care, upper management in my program is disconnected, and there’s not an avenue to safely bring concerns and solutions up.

Pros

Percepta has some truly great frontline leaders especially those who have been with the company for over a year. Their guidance, dedication, and support represent the true heart and soul of the business. I believe leadership should take a closer look at these individuals, as they embody the culture and values that keep Percepta strong.

Cons

Percepta has changed so much, and unfortunately, it’s been for the worse. The new HR directors don’t seem to provide their teams with the necessary guidance or support. They often act as if they have all the answers, leaving employees confused and undervalued. There’s also a noticeable lack of empathy, and when mistakes are made, they’re met with excuses rather than accountability. They may believe their approach is sufficient for Percepta, but it’s not. People will eventually get tired of this and leave. While the general HR support team is great, the two directors have created a lot of tension whether they realize it or not. Unfortunately, I don’t think anything will be done, and they’ll continue to lead things downhill. If leadership doesn’t start asking questions and allowing departments to operate in the ways they know best, things will never improve. It truly starts at the top, and that’s where the biggest issues seem to lie. Not competitive wages.

Thank you for sharing your review and for the opportunity to provide input. We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience. It’s encouraging to see your recognition of our frontline leaders, their dedication, care, and consistency truly represent the heart of Percepta. Regarding the concerns raised about HR leadership, we take this feedback seriously, even though no specific incidents were mentioned. Over the past year, we’ve made several structural and cultural improvements to enhance employee experience and strengthen leadership connection across the organization, and these include: • Increased Communication Touchpoints: We’ve expanded regular check-ins with frontline leaders and employees through forums like Leadership Connections, one-on-ones, and some other team meetings. All designed to improve transparency and ensure every voice is heard. • Enhanced HR Support Accessibility: We’ve streamlined how employees can raise concerns or seek guidance, ensuring quicker response times and clearer escalation paths through employee surveys and direct engagement channels. • Leadership Development: We’ve continued to invest in leadership and HR training, focusing on empathetic leadership, active listening, and accountability to reinforce our people-first culture. • Wage Review Efforts: While ongoing, we’re collaborating with Total Rewards teams to assess market competitiveness and address pay equity across roles and regions. We also recognize that perception shapes reality and if some employees feel unheard or unsupported, it’s an opportunity for us to reflect and improve how we engage and communicate. We fully agree with the advice shared in the review, and meaningful progress starts with listening. We remain committed to learning from all feedback and continuing to build a culture of trust, empathy, and continuous improvement. Please let us know if you’d like additional details or if there’s a forum where we can further discuss this topic. Please email percepta.hr@percepta.com to continue the conversation.
