Pros

The flexibility is the only benefit worth sticking around for. I received 20 Perci Points to leave this review, so there's that.

Cons

I’ve been with this company for several years, and my experience has taken a serious toll on my mental health due to a toxic environment, specifically stemming from retaliation by management. I have been in therapy for a while due to this job, alone. Favoritism runs rampant, and it feels like the only way to advance is to be connected to the right people, not through skill or hard work. The concept of “glass walls and ceilings” is very real here. I’ve seen my career progression stifled simply because I don't fit into the favored group. Additionally, gossiping and unnecessary personal involvement in work affairs are the norm—leading to an atmosphere where you never truly know who knows what about you. It’s impossible to maintain privacy or trust with colleagues, making the work environment feel unsafe. There is a clear lack of pay equity across the board. Women, particularly women of color, who speak up professionally, are often labeled as "combative." This double standard not only stifles diversity of thought but also prevents any real progress. The company fails to recognize the value of these voices and instead seeks to undermine them. Moreover, the company doesn’t seem interested in retaining talent based on merit. Instead, employees are kept in their roles due to personal connections rather than qualifications or performance. If you don’t have the right people backing you, your concerns will be ignored, and your efforts overlooked. The workload is constantly increasing with no accompanying increase in compensation. Bonuses and perks like "Perci Points" are mere distractions and serve as breadcrumbs to give the illusion that the company cares about employee well-being, when in reality, it’s not enough to make a difference. Diversity is a buzzword here, but it’s superficial. While the company hires a large number of minority employees, they fail to pay fairly or address systemic inequities. If everyone in the company is part of the same minority group, how are you truly diverse? Finally, employees at my level and below have no voice in the organization. There’s a blatant lack of inclusion for those of us who are trying to make a meaningful impact. The company's culture is deeply exclusionary, and I’ve yet to see real efforts to improve the work environment for those who aren't part of the inner circle. I truly hope that management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating an environment that is fair, equitable, and inclusive for everyone, regardless of gender, race, or personal connections.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. At Percepta, we work hard to create an environment where everyone feels supported, valued, and heard, so it’s disappointing to hear when someone’s experience hasn’t reflected that. We genuinely appreciate you sharing your perspective. We hope you had the opportunity to participate in our bi-yearly Speak Up survey or our annual We Belong survey, as both are designed to give employees a direct voice in shaping positive changes across the company. Every piece of feedback matters and helps us move forward. We also offer ongoing resources, including our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and mental health first aid guides, to help support overall well-being. We remain committed to building a workplace where everyone can truly come as they are. If you’d be open to sharing more about your experience, we would welcome the opportunity to listen and learn. Please feel free to reach out to us at percepta.hr@percepta.com. Thank you again for being part of the Percepta team.
