Pros

A lot of smart people, Most engineers and scientists are really nice, bright and hard-working, Tons of opportunities to learn about new technologies

Cons

The leadership is incompetent, wasteful, Over-bloated bureaucracy while the basic needs of the programs are ignored. Basic infrastructure is lacking. A lot of wishful thinking.

Pros

This place is all about SBIR money. They’re great at getting government money that comes in regularly without much oversight.

Cons

PSI knows how to get government money, they struggle with everything else. Management often skips out on investing in the right equipment or bringing in people with needed skills. The programs end up being used as batteries for all sorts of stuff that has nothing to do with their original goals, making real progress tough. Transitioning to a product after Phase II is very unlikely . Management doesn’t like to be challenged or even hear bad news. Honestly, the best approach is to stay quiet and just put on a good show for the customers.
