- Awful raises, likely due to poor company performance. - Upper management over assigns work and sends late night slacks too often. - Morale is low at the "grunt" level

Working at Pie was the worst experience of my career and extremely traumatizing. There was no clear vision from leadership and no policies in place, which only fueled the chaos. Constant layoffs left everyone feeling demoralized and overwhelmed. I truly don’t know how Pie is still in business. Avoid this place if you value your sanity. Also… if you’re still working at Pie and reading this review, what are you doing?? Leave??

Unlimited PTO (but nothing to pay out when they lay people off) Full coverage medical for employee, half for spouse or partner

Cons

- CEO had to make company wide apology after screaming and cussing out C-level employee that caused him to leave - A "restructure" in the sales team resulted in 20+ people being laid off. During the termination meeting, they offered us the option to reapply for a new position they created - High turnover in Underwriting and Customer services left sales team with their hands tied and unable to meet over 30% year growth from previous year - Consistent reprioritization of goals. Of course things change, but there is such whiplash, it's hard to know if the project you are working will be valued in 45-60 days.
