Pros

I have been here for a bit over a year and I have enjoyed that we are growing constantly. Things are never the same and we are always seeming to review what we are doing and move forward to our goals. The leadership team is very aligned in direction and is focused on making this company the best it can be. It seems like everyday I meet another unique and talented person that I get the pleasure of calling my team members. We have a wonderful team and I am lucky to be part of it.

Cons

Just like anywhere there are growth pains as you expand and grow - but as a company we navigate those well. Nothing that I would list as a con!

Pros

Great company with great projects. I had the opportunity to mostly work interesting projects and great access to Microsoft early adopter information. The management teams are working hard to work together and deliver for the customers and employees.

Cons

Like all consulting companies you do have to be billable most of the time. However if you need sometime at home to work remote it is usually accommodated.

Pros

I was supporting a government contract and one of the reasons I came to Planet was because they have a reputation for not being a "staffing firm" and hiring the individual to fit in with the team atmosphere. It was a message I had heard time and again. Unfortunately, after several years, the project I was supporting did end. They worked very hard for weeks to get me assigned to another project and also had opportunities in other geographies. I wanted to stay local and it just did not work out. What they did do though was help to find me a position with another firm. That kind of caring just doesn't exist out there these days.

Cons

It was a good experience and I would work with Planet again.

We work hard to avoid the typical "staffing firm" mentality and have created an environment whereby people collaborate and learn from one another. We hire people that fit a culture and work off of the model "Hire Character, Train Skill". Thank you and best wishes in your career.
