Decent vacation, sick time alotment. Free to work somewhat autonomously.

Cons

Ridgid corporate structure that prevents ideas from flowing up. Numerous promises for advancement, but advancement largely depends on your social circle, rather than accomplishments, or qualification. Incentive compensation exists in name only. Telltale signs of a floundering / dying company.

Plexus is a company that says they like to promote from within if you meet the requirements, but they fail in every way. I have a degree and was qualified for a Planning Manager position that was posted, I was very interested in the job and applied. the position was given to a woman that had only been employed for 1 1/2 years (I have been there for almost 6) she did not meet the requirements specified for the position by not having a degree. She was told before the position was posted that it was coming up, within 2 days of it being posted she was given the position before anyone else had the chance.
