It doesn't take much to be the smartest person in the room.

Cons

Most of the admins lack the technical knowledge and experience required to support a company of this size. This leads to a few key individuals who keep the entire shoestring environment up and running, but eventually those individuals leave leading to more technical debt. IT management is filled with incompetent middle managers who haven't the slightest idea how to run an IT department or provide direction. The company has multiple single points of failure that jeopardize the entire business.

- excellent and nurturing mentorship - fun and inviting people - industry relevant technical and customer focused skill growth

Cons

- expects employees to work weekends and holidays and does not compensate for extra time - rather than hiring new employees, the company pushes employees to do additional jobs under the guise of “exposure” - refuses to promote employees until an arbitrary timeline is met - aggressive deadlines forces employees to trauma bond in a culture of commiseration - unlivable salary that is not fairly compensated for work efforts or cost of living - salary at other locations are based off of the Neenah HQ location where the cost of living is dirt cheap - healthcare package is inexcusably poor for a billion dollar company - unethical favoritism where only certain employees are offered special perks and compensation behind closed doors - rampant sexism in manufacturing centers - rampant sexism and homophobia in the Neenah HQ - not a safe place for queer people or people of color
