Pros

- My direct management is great - My compensation is great - Company is remote friendly in my experience despite other reviews that seem to be saying the company is doubling down on their new hq. Yes it's being built, but I've seen remote employees hired recently.

Cons

- The company claims they don't do dive and saves because they pay people market value, but when they promote from inside they know how much people were being paid previously and they put them at the bottom of the new payscale in the new ladder. - If you are already established in your career Pluralsight is a good place to work, but if you are entry level and rapidly increasing your skillset (as is their value) the reality is you'll still get a better pay increase by leaving despite their claims that they do "merit and market" increases. - I'm not opposed to paying market value, or opposed to doing dive and saves if it's necessary, but if you refuse to do both, you lose talent which is unfortunate. - Things don't seem to be trending in a good direction from a management standpoint. Lots of people seem to be leaving, messaging from management seems to be "everyone just needs to do better". Asking for better work without better pay seems to be counter intuitive.

Pros

Reasonable compensation and healthcare benefits. Equipment provided. Team lunches and company-wide lunches.

Cons

Rampant favoritism. Applicants can easily be passed over for reasons unrelated to qualifications. The care they have for employees only runs skin-deep. Aggressive management processes.

I’m sorry to hear how this is how you’ve experienced hiring and promotions. We’re working hard to ensure we have a clear, transparent, and equitable process for hiring and promoting our team members. We also continue to work on our career ladders to create even more transparency on growth for roles across the company, but there’s more work to do and we’re committed to it! - Anita

Pros

-The platform itself is amazing and easy to discuss with technologists -Benefits are great -People are amazing if they stay - CEO is easy to get behind - If you like a "bro" culture, you'll like it here - Company gear(swag) - Company does great things for non-profit orgs.

Cons

ADM position is NOT a sales position and you are lied to during interview process on how many employees hit quota. The number is less than 10% and average time in seat is 2 1/2 months. You will be cleaning Salesforce data, answering incoming calls(receptionist), and the leads we get from marketing don't set you up for success(Most have no phone number, invalid email). Managers of ADM/BDR teams are not leaders and they sit in a corner together and do not have a proactive approach to making sure you develop. - The pay is lied about in interview process(they won't let you work OT and you will most likely not hit OTE) - All focus and energy is towards Account Executives - Too much performance based, if you're a top performer ethics don't matter and not held to same standards - SFDC data is a mess and communication is confusing on what accounts are actually workable - Mid-Level leadership is awful and don't live up to company values - Communication in Sales is inconsistent which is creating a lot of frustration - Training and professional development doesn't exist. - So many meetings - Good people are leaving

I’m sorry to hear this was your experience at Pluralsight. We’re working closely with the ADM/BDR teams to improve processes and enablement. While we’re we’re deeply committed to this, I want to acknowledge that some of what you’ve shared here isn’t accurate. Thank you for the feedback — our sales and marketing leadership, business partners, and I are all committed to addressing issues that are getting in the way of us doing our best work. - Anita
